What kind of "Hello! Welcome to Olympic National Park" would make our day? 

Definitely!! It would be one from a mule deer sharing the road with us today! Wow!

Here it is. Just be careful to let him own the road before proceeding😊




 




As we continued, bent on scoring a well-rounded view of the park's different regions, we drove to Hurricane Ridge for these unmatched meadow and forest sights.


























 While on the way to rainforest amazement, Lake Crescent graced us with its beauty and a surprise bald eagle passing through just as I decided to go to video mode👀








Upon entering the mossy wonderland below, we began to grasp just how much diversity Olympic National Park rightfully claims.



























We're certainly not done yet! On to Ruby Beach, shall we?


Yes indeed!
Washington State, you do have it all!

It's time for a whiff of seashore goodness and shoes filled with sand as we steadily make our way through a driftwood obstacle course🐚🌅





















This does conclude our tour.  But stay tuned just in case we find ourselves in another one of these national wonders soon😉

Home on the Bayou

  We are back for a stay on the bayou.  Home, for the time being, is the Picou Farm.🐎🐔🌱 We have been graciously welcomed to park and stay a while, and it feels like we never left😊 We don't keep our windows closed much lately as we might miss out on the sounds provided by the farm. We have experienced many different places, sights, and sounds, but there is definitely something special about living among these characters. Many of the images below were captured by a quick peek out of our windows. Beauty!!  .....precious family time, l💞ving on the bayou grandbabes😊, and just plain fun..... A quick drive from Cut Off takes us to some Greensburg Naquin moochdocking time😁 While enjoying time here again, we decided a visit to the Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium had to happen.   Any true fan of HGTV's "Home Town" featuring Ben & Erin Napier will appreciate the following. We surely did enjoy our time here. It is a truly lovely and beautiful place!! If you have the opportunity, book a ride with a tour guide. This was a wonderful experience! While waiting for a place on the tour cart, we enjoyed lunch, strolling through the downtown area and its charming shops, and fun time at the park. This restaurant has a one-of-a-kind idea. Instead of handing out crayons and activity menus  to their young guests, they opt for Wikki Stix to create art on the walls. Brilliant!! This area caught my eye as one that Ben and Erin may, at some point, signal out to add to Laurel's beauty. But, even now it offers a certain antique mystique of its own. Zion National Park

Coming in at the very top on Utah's list of most visited national parks and third on the entire nation's we have Zion National Park. Since it is rated so high, one must be prepared to battle crowds at every turn. Even that, though, could not overshadow Zion's beauty. Cannon is gaining photography skills as he backs up to frame Mom & Dad in this one while we all do the park sign shuffle😁 And he sweetly poses in front of the camera for his own shots. With the formality all taken care of, let's jump in! Zion Wildlife sightings always make our heart skip a beat! It's time for some tunnel fun! If we have to be walled in, we choose this way.  Let's hike! The reward...... Sadly, sometimes you just have to exit the park. Check out those winding roads beneath us😲 Just when we thought the day was done amazing us, we turned our gaze to the right to behold these great creatures. Nice bonus!! Thanks again Utah!! You are pretty spectacular!
