Here are some of our recent moments. As we enjoyed more of the beauty surrounding us, it became clear that the time had come to exit the road and enter whatever God has for us next. We have been led to purchase a house in Franklinton, LA, "settle", and pursue adoption.  Nothing is easy, but when God leads and you follow, it's good.  With all of that said, here are more of our recent adventures enjoyed as transition began.

Crazy Horse Memorial, pictured above, is a work in progress. Isn't it safe to say we all are? We don't intend to do the work ourselves. We know One who is completely capable, just, and loving. Why would we ever take matters into our own less capable hands?

Life is hard, but God is good!

Home on the Bayou

  We are back for a stay on the bayou.  Home, for the time being, is the Picou Farm.🐎🐔🌱 We have been graciously welcomed to park and stay a while, and it feels like we never left😊 We don't keep our windows closed much lately as we might miss out on the sounds provided by the farm. We have experienced many different places, sights, and sounds, but there is definitely something special about living among these characters. Many of the images below were captured by a quick peek out of our windows. Beauty!!  .....precious family time, l💞ving on the bayou grandbabes😊, and just plain fun..... A quick drive from Cut Off takes us to some Greensburg Naquin moochdocking time😁 While enjoying time here again, we decided a visit to the Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium had to happen. Niagara Falls

A long day of towing from Burlington, VT to Grand Island (New York that is) earned a very special outing. It was time to explore Niagara Falls💦    We arrived ready to jump onto a Maid of the Mist boat for a very exciting and soaking adventure! Getting up close and personal with the most powerful waterfall in North America with 600,000 gallons of water each second vying for attention is not an endeavor that leads to walking away dry!  Cannon is looking just a little bit apprehensive here as he wonders just what it is that he's getting himself into. It could be that he isn't fond of his new attire for the trip. And here we are after our waterfall shower😀 We'll close in the gap of time between the above shots by sharing some of the footage we were thrilled to grab.  Once we had disembarked, we decided to tackle the many steps before us to acquire the panoramic presentation below. Happy 1st Birthday Alfie - - Louisville Zoo Day

Since its beginning in 1969 with 250 animals, the State Zoo of Kentucky has been putting smiles on faces young and old. As we travel, zoos that are new to us are something we keep our eyes peeled for.  Considering we had not yet made our way to this one, we were very excited to finally visit. Beautiful weather and sharing Alfie's birthday turned this day into something truly special. Join us as we savor memory making moments spending a few hours among the over 1,000 animals as we stroll through the Louisville Zoo. At the gate and ready to go! And they're off!! 🎉Birthday Boy looking pretty excited🎈 😁A beautiful and  fun filled zoo day😀                              🐅🐒🐊🐘🐧🐻🐫🐺🐐🐗🐅🐒🐊🐘🐧🐻🐫🐺🐐🐗 Join us next time as we take part in some Fall fun at Gallrein Farms!
