Waterton Lakes National Park -Alberta, Canada

Once it was realized that the distance between Glacier National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park was a mere 27 miles,

we grabbed those passports.

What follows will explain why not including this park in our day was simply not an option.

!Here we go!

We absolutely must check out that visitor center first!

Seeing this beauty in the distance would spur anyone to want to get closer.
The Prince of Wales Hotel is a 121 foot/7 story building named a national historic site in 1992. It is a sight to behold.

As we drove into the parking lot, we suddenly realized the treat we were in for.
As if this structure was not enough, being in the midst of Upper Waterton Lakes provided a feast for the eyes.

Red Rock Canyon was next on the list!

This destination was amazing on its own, but what a surprise we got on the drive out!

Let's first explore the canyon.

Look at Cannon down there! Do you think he was relishing the moment?
Oh yes!!

Here is a shot of the drive out of the canyon area. What more could anyone ask for with a view like this?

????????????????????????

Did we indeed get more?
We did๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜ฎ

This was the first sighting, and it just got better from there!

But wait! Even more wildlife on the way!

With a tour like that, saying goodbye was anything but easy๐Ÿ˜”
Yet the time had come.
