Crater Lake National Park Oregon

When visiting this park, July doesn't offer the very same conditions we, as southerners, are used to. Although temperatures were soaring, snowbanks still lined many of the areas we drove through the day we approached Crater Lake National Park.

Let's stop to admire some effects of the snow that has already melted.

A friendly chipmunk will now lead the way to a stunning tour of the deepest lake in the United States and seventh deepest in the entire world. As if these titles were not enough, it also holds the one for the cleanest and clearest water in the world.

The blue behind me? Nothing but lake๐Ÿ‘€

See you next time as we stay in Oregon but shift the focus to a different kind of beauty at Owen Rose Garden in Eugene. Here's a small preview๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒบ
