Off To The Fryeburg Fair Via Evans Notch

Considering another opportunity to surround ourselves with outstanding Fall foliage, we chose Evans Notch Road to navigate our way to Maine's largest fair. The experience was loaded with exhibits, demonstrations, taste testing, ox pulling, a huge selection of amusement rides, and more. We originally planned to enjoy the fair for a couple of hours but stayed over six! What a day!!

Before we jump into the fair, let's look at the gorgeous ride we were able to take part in to get there. Evans Notch, a lovely mountain pass, is always an eye pleaser, but, in the month of October, it really pops!
Here is just a small sampling of some of its colorful offerings for everyone who loves a Fall foliage tour.

And now on to the fair........

Who doesn't love a super slide?!

Time to head to the farm!

Let's see some tough competition๐Ÿค๐Ÿ˜

Not tough enough?

Let's try again.

Ox Pulling!!

For us, watching these beasts in action was a first.

What a phenomenal animal! Take a break, big guy!

And so will we! Awesome fun! So much to see and do!
But, every good thing must come to an end.

๐Ÿ’™See you soon๐Ÿ’™
