Bryce Canyon National Park

This is one crazy amazing place with "other world" mystique. To call it unique would definitely be understating. While making our way through, we learned a fun new word. Hoodoo is a name for the rocky spires so prevalent in the park. Some of the spires are as tall as a ten-story building.

Considering we are from Louisiana, the word hoodoo was not immediately appealing. It is way too similar to one well known in the New Orleans area. But, sticking to the geological aspect and the fact that these hoodoos are fascinating, there's no need to get hung up on etymology๐Ÿ˜‰

Let's now dig right in and present this stunning national park.

Capturing this radical height and depth is not easy, but here, next, are a few of our best shots.

Don't miss the hikers down below.

We watched a captivating sunset before heading out of the park for dinner only to drive back in for stargazing.

Although we were not faced with the best scenario for bright stars as we looked up to a nearly full moon, we did snag a fine moonlit view of natural bridge.

We bid you adieu in the light of the moon and look forward to next time๐ŸŒ‘
